The Chinese smartphone manufacturers, Huawei has launched its flagship Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X in the Indian smartphone market. Both these smartphone feature high-end smartphone capabilities and hardware configuration, which together make a complete Android smartphone package. The Honor 6 Plus has been placed in the mid-budget price segment. Whereas, the Honor 4X has been placed in the affordable price segment of Rs.10,000.
The Huawei Honor 4X has now available for registration on Flipkart. It would go on a flash sale on 30th March. This is the same way in which Xiaomi and Yu Yureka launches and sells its smartphones in India. As per a report, the registrations had crossed the mark of 100,000 in just 24 hours. It seems that the Indians are excited towards Huawei Honor 4X very much.
The Huawei Honor 4X with high-end specs and features with a competitive price tag offers a tough time to XiaomiRedmi Note 4G and Yu Yureka, which are currently the best selling smartphone devices in the segment. Huawei is all set to offer a tough competition to both Xiaomi and Micromax’s Yu in the Indian smartphone market.

Both these smartphones run on Google’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. Xiaomi has hinted that Redmi Note 4G would receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update later this year. No such reports by Huawei for Honor 4X have arrived yet.

The XiaomiRedmi Note 4G is available for Rs.9, 999 in India. And the bookings for Huawei Honor 4X has been started with a price tag of Rs.10, 499 in India. For availability and comparative cheaper price tag, the Redmi Note 4G seems better. Both these smartphones can be bought exclusively from Flipkart only.
Our Verdict
Going with the hardware specifications, both the XiaomiRedmi Note 4G and Huawei Honor 4X have proved themselves to be called as complete smartphone devices with high-end capabilities. The USP of these smartphones is their price tag. However, the Redmi Note 4G with better processor, memory expansion capability, a powerful battery and comparatively cheaper price tag looks better than the Huawei Honor 4X.
However, Dual-SIM capability, slim and light-weight body and attractive body design turns things in favor of Huawei Honor 4X. If you can wait and have patience to participate in flash sales, Huawei Honor 4X is definitely worth a look.
